BIKES: Castrol Accelerates Ahead With The Launch Of The All-New Castrol POWER1 Oil!

Castrol Malaysia has announced the launch of the all-new Castrol POWER1 by unveiling a total of four new variants – All tailor made to suit a motorcycle’s special demands. The new formulation boasts better performance as a direct result of improved technology and product specification upgrade.

The four new variants that were introduced are Castrol POWER1 Cruise 4T 15W-50 1L, Castrol POWER1 Racing 4T 10W-40 1L, Castrol POWER1 Scooter 4-AT 5W-40 1L and 10W-40 1L. Along with the launch, a total of two existing variants were relaunched with new improved formulations, namely the Castrol POWER1 4T 10W-40 1L and Castrol POWER1 Racing 4T 10W-50 1L.

Setting itself apart from its competitors, the new Castrol POWER1 with Power Release Technology™, optimises friction which in return provides motorcycle enthusiasts with faster, more superior acceleration at the twist of the throttle. In a 5.2km 3-stage acceleration test using 101kW 4-cycliner supersports engine, the new Castrol POWER1 10W-40 is 6.6 seconds quicker than a competitor 10W-40 and 2.8 seconds quicker than a previous formulation.

Shell Announces 4th Year Joint Promotion With MasterCard To Aid Underprivileged Children

You can make a difference too. Shell would like to invite all Malaysians to help in the lives of underprivileged children through its Shell Raya Charity Campaign 2018. Now in its fourth year, this initiative has been expanded to take place over 9 days, with an increased donation of up to 2 sen (RM0.02) for every litre of fuel pumped with the participation of Mastercard.

On 19 May, 26 May, 2 June and 9 until 14 June 2018, Shell will donate 1 Sen (RM0.01) for every litre of fuel pumped at any Shell station nationwide. An additional donation of 1 Sen (RM0.01) per litre will be made by Mastercard when motorists pay using their Mastercard.

The Shell Raya Charity Campaign focuses on capacity building for underprivileged children since its inception in 2015. Thanks to the generosity and support of Malaysian motorists, donations have allowed charitable organisations to fund educational programmes, renovate facilities, and upgrade office equipment.

This year, the funds will be donated to seven selected charitable organisations across the country; The Kalsom Movement (Nationwide), Yayasan Chow Kit (Klang Valley), Majlis Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Malaysia (East Coast, North, South), Project T.R.Y (Transforming Rural Youth, Sabah), Pertubuhan Ibu Bapa Kanak-Kanak Keperluan Istimewa Sarawak, Montfort Youth Training Centre (Sabah), and HAUS (Sarawak).

Every contribution matters, and Motorists are invited to take part in this initiative beginning Saturday, 19 May 2018 by simply fuelling up at any Shell station nationwide. Be sure to mark the remaining dates – 26 May, 2 June and 9 until 14 June 2018 – in your calendar.

Petronas Sprinta Launched @ Phuket Bike Week 2018! [+Videos & Photo Gallery]

Launched! It’s the first time that Petronas has ever done an official launch in Thailand, and since it’s for motorcycles, what better venue than at the iconic Phuket Bike Week!

It was indeed a full-on razzmatazz affair right at the centre stage of PBW, in fact, the branding for Petronas is so strong at this year’s event, I wouldn’t be surprised if first timers here would mistake it for a Petronas bike event instead of PBW.

Contix Asia Launches UNIXX Engine Oils In Malaysia

Singapore-based lubricant specialist, Contix Asia Pte Ltd (or the Company) today introduced its range of specially formulated Unixx engine oils to Malaysians with a commitment to providing consistently high quality engineered performance at competitive prices.
