Valentine’s Day takes place in February and while it is regarded as a special occasion for couples, it is also a time when appreciation can be shown to those whom we care about. With this in mind, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) is having a promotion with special offers on Nissan products as a way of showing its appreciation to customers.

Since being launched in 1991, the Nissan Serena has had a varied model cycle through 5 generations, as long as 8 years (first generation) and as short as 5 years (third generation). Nevertheless, it has been a popular MPV in Japan because of its family-friendly design which has evolved with the changing needs of customers.
The sixth generation (C28) launched recently continues with this successful formula while offering new powertrain technologies and safety systems. Though having some visual similarities to the C27 generation, the new Serena has revamped styling, while maintaining roughly the same footprint. It also has the widest windscreen in the MPV category (1.2 – 2.0 litre class with 7/8-seats).

In line with the Government’s move to zero-rate Goods and Services Tax (GST) effective 1 June 2018, Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has announced the implementation of 0% GST by offering GST Rebates for Nissan passenger vehicles registered from 16 to 31 May 2018. Under this GST Rebates promotion, ETCM will provide a full GST cash rebate for Nissan passenger vehicles registered from 16 to 31 May 2018. Note that with the GST Rebates in effect, the Price Protection Promise is no longer valid.

Following its launch yesterday, we’re currently en route to Penang in the new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid Highway Star and thus far it’s proven to be a very capable 7-seater MPV.
How do 14 cup-holders sound to you? Or the 7 USB ports? It’s capable of sustaining highway speeds quite easily, and tops out at about 190kmh, which is more than fast enough for a vehicle in this category.
