FREE vehicle inspection by Bosch this Ramadan

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia (Bosch AA) would like to remind each and every car owner in the country to service their vehicles before heading back to see their family and friends this festive season.

There’s no surprise that the highways will be clogged up with vehicles and road accidents and more prevalent because of this. Higher risks of road accidents are presented in this scenario, but you can lower those risks with a well-maintained car that’s running at optimum levels.

Bosch AA recently launched the ‘Drive for Life’ safety campaign to remind, educate, assist car owners on active car care as well as proper maintenance using high quality parts. This is to ensure that you won’t get stuck by the side of the road during the ‘balik kampung’ trip and putting you and your loved ones out of harm’s way.

This festive season, Bosch AA would like to remind all drivers to service their cars or perform this simple 6-point car inspection check which you can do on your own for a safer journey:

  • Check the car service schedule sticker for the service due date
  • Check the car’s tyre pressure, tyre thread condition and don’t forget to inflate the spare tyre
  • Check the engine oil levels
  • Check the battery condition
  • Check the wipers
  • Check all lights – head, rear, brake and signal lights

According to Mr. Pang Yoon Kong, Country Manager of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia, “Well maintained cars reduce the risks of road accidents and helps deliver a safer and smoother drive. This 6-point check is simple to perform and can help increase reliability of the car especially for long distance travels during festive seasons.”

Bosch AA together with Petron will be conducting free vehicle inspection services on battery condition, engine oil and fluid levels, tyre thread and brake pad thickness during the last two weekends of May at these four locations:

  • Petron Sg. Besi Toll Southbound – 18 May
  • Petron MRR2 Safari – 19 May
  • Petron MRR2 Selayang 25 May
  • Petron KESAS Eastbound – 26 May
