Help the less fortunate with Shell ‘Anda Beli, Kami Derma’ campaign

It was only last week since Shell Malaysia announced their annual Raya CSR campaign for this year called the ‘Anda Beli, Kami Derma’ campaign. Starting tomorrow (30 May 2019) until 8 June 2019, Shell will be donating:

  • 1 Sen for every litre of Shell Fuels purchased
  • 1 Sen for every Ringgit spent at all Shell Select stores (excluding E-Pay products, Touch N Go & in-store services)

That might seem very little but considering the fact that EACH AND EVERY Shell station in the country will be participating for the next 10 days, that amount will positively total up to a huge figure by the end of the campaign.

For 2019, the Shell ‘Anda Beli, Kami Derma’ campaign will be donating all the funds collected to three very beautiful non-profit organizations to help them with their causes; National Cancer Society Malaysia, Food Aid Foundation, and Malaysian Nature Society.

Sharing the comments from Mr. Shairan Huzani Husain, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd, “We have increased our collection timeline to 10 days and incorporated spending at Shell SELECT to give our customers more opportunities to contribute to organisations in need. We have also chosen relevant causes that we believe are close to the heart of Malaysians, in line with our efforts to make life’s journeys better for communities in which we operate.”

The campaign is also partnering up with Mastercard for their second year now where Mastercard has pledged to donate and additional RM0.01 for every litre of Shell fuels pumped and every RM1 spent at Shell SELECT, paid with any Mastercard credit or debit card, an additional 1 Sen will be contributed to the Food Aid Foundation.

Want to donate to a specific NGO of your choice upon spending at any Shell station? You can! All you have to do is select their preferred choice of beneficiaries and submit either the original or duplicate copy of their receipt at a Shell station and indicate their choice via submission boxes prepared.
