BMW Malaysia launches new BMW 330i M Sport – RM288,800

The folks from BMW Malaysia has unveiled their latest addition into the locally assembled premium selection in the form of the new BMW 330i M Sport. Priced at RM288,800 (OTR without insurance), the new seventh-generation model is assembled at their facility located in Kulim, Kedah. Simply put, the new 330i is lighter, faster, and designed with better aerodynamics than ever before.

According to Harald Hoelzl, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, “We introduced the seventh generation of the world’s best-selling premium sports sedan earlier this year, raising the bar yet again in its segment. While the fully imported variant has seen over 350 new owners in merely six months, the locally assembled BMW 330i M Sport introduced today is set to continue writing the success story of the ultimate sports sedan.”

“Beyond providing our customers a wider mix of products in addition to our offering of fully imported models, we are pleased to once again deliver on our promise to growing our investments in the country as Malaysia continues to grow as a hub for the BMW Group in South East Asia,” added Hoelzl.

Designed with athletic features and dynamic performance, the new BMW 330i M Sport offers high levels of driving dynamics which is iconic amongst BMW enthusiasts around the globe. Sporting features like 18-inch M light alloy wheels, blue callipers with the M logo, there’s no mistaking that this beauty is loaded with parts from the most powerful letter in the world.

The front end is now garnished with a larger kidney grille with adaptive headlights and Bi-LED technology. Moving towards the rear, the new BMW 330i M Sport comes with three-dimensional taillights with a set of huge 90mm tailpipes to further enhance its sporty appeal.

This bad boy is equipped with a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine which produces 258hp and 400Nm of maximum torque from as low as 1,550rpm. Top speed comes in at 250km/h and hitting 100km/h from a standstill is achievable in only 5.8 seconds. All of this performance is handled using an updated eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.

The new BMW 330i M Sport is now 25kg lighter (kerb weight 1,545kg) and has best-in-class aerodynamics with a drag coefficient rate of only 0.23. The M Sport suspension will highlight BMW’s first-ever lift-related dampers that exemplify an innovative damping system.

Its interior comes with features such as:
