Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially launched the Wolfsburg Edition range, a collection of special edition models celebrating the German marque’s birthplace. This exclusive series includes the Arteon R-Line, Tiguan Allspace Elegance, and Tiguan Allspace R-Line, each outfitted with distinctive enhancements to honour the brand’s legacy.
The Wolfsburg Edition models will make their debut appearance at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, which takes place at MAEPS Serdang from 9 to 15 May.
Each car in this commemorative line-up comes with the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP), which comprises seven years of complimentary maintenance, a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, and five years of roadside assistance. The recommended retail prices inclusive of VAP are RM210,990 for the Tiguan Allspace Elegance, RM263,990 for the Tiguan Allspace R-Line, and RM304,990 for the Arteon R-Line. As part of an introductory offer, the models are available with significant savings: RM30,000 off for the Tiguan Allspace Elegance, RM20,000 off for the Tiguan Allspace R-Line, and RM40,000 off for the Arteon R-Line — bringing their respective prices down to RM180,990, RM243,990, and RM264,990.
The Wolfsburg Edition badge signifies more than just a design update. These models feature special touches that nod to the heritage of Volkswagen’s origins in Wolfsburg, Germany. Key elements across the range include a Wolfsburg Crest emblem, exclusive Wolfsburg Edition floor mats, and a commemorative owners’ box complete with a Volkswagen keyholder and a Certificate of Authenticity.
All Wolfsburg Edition variants are also equipped with the Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 (UTR2.0) — an advanced dual-camera dashcam system installed at the front and rear. Powered by Sony’s “Starvis” night-vision image sensors, the UTR2.0 captures crisp QHD video, even at high speeds and in low-light settings, while leveraging efficient compression technology and dual-band 5GHz WiFi for fast downloads.
Additional styling and practical enhancements have been tailored to each model. The Arteon R-Line Wolfsburg Edition features dynamic Volkswagen hub caps, LED logo lighting on the door trims, a protective tailgate strip, and secure cargo elements with velcro-backed floor fasteners.
Meanwhile, the Tiguan Allspace Elegance and R-Line Wolfsburg Editions are fitted with features that enhance both utility and style. These include load edge protection, a durable polypropylene boot tray that is easily removable, and a set of smart multimedia holders and hooks that can attach to the rear headrests, capable of supporting up to 3kg. Furthermore, the Elegance variant includes German-made aluminium sports pedals with non-slip surfaces for added flair and control.
By combining timeless design cues, cutting-edge technology, and carefully considered accessories, VPCM’s Wolfsburg Edition series pays homage to the spirit of Volkswagen’s founding city while delivering modern sophistication to Malaysian drivers.
