MG Motor Malaysia is ending the year on a high note with the launch of two exclusive models at its upcoming ‘Dare to Love’ Roadshow, taking place from 29 October to 2 November 2025 at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. The five-day event will see the public debut of the MG5 X Edition and the MG4 101 Edition — two special models created to celebrate design, innovation, and MG’s century-long heritage.

The MG5 X Edition brings a sportier edge to the familiar B-segment sedan, priced at RM96,388. It features a range of cosmetic enhancements, including gloss black accents along the front, rear, and side skirts, a bold trunk spoiler, and exclusive X Edition scuff plates. Inside, the special edition includes an MG dashcam with a 64GB SD card and a one-year warranty. Only 300 units of this model will be made available, giving it an added sense of exclusivity for those looking to stand out on the road.

Meanwhile, MG is marking its 101st anniversary with the MG4 101 Edition — a commemorative take on its award-winning all-electric hatchback. Based on the MG4 Lux Extended variant, this limited edition features a Union Jack roof motif, a “One of One” decal, and a dual-tone interior. It will be available only in Dynamic Red and Holborn Blue, reflecting MG’s British roots while celebrating its global presence today.

Both special editions reinforce MG’s strategy of offering stylish, practical, and affordable vehicles that appeal to modern drivers. Visitors to the roadshow can view the full MG line-up in person, including both special editions, from 10AM to 10PM daily.

The ‘Dare to Love’ Roadshow will also serve as MG’s final major event of 2025, featuring a range of attractive year-end promotions across its petrol and electric vehicle range. The full display will include the MG4, MG5, MG HS, MG S5 EV, and the headline-grabbing MG Cyberster — the brand’s first all-electric convertible. With Malaysia’s current EV tax exemptions expected to conclude soon, the event presents a timely opportunity for those planning to make the switch to electric.

As part of the promotions, the MG5 now comes with a rebate of RM8,000, while the MG HS offers up to RM12,000 in savings. Buyers can also take advantage of MG’s Ultimate Financing offer, which includes six months of free instalments and an additional cash rebate.

For electric vehicle customers, the MG4 is priced at RM100,888 for the Lux, RM128,888 for the Lux Extended, and RM138,888 for the range-topping XPower. Every purchase includes a complimentary 7kW AC wallbox charger or charging credits, amounting to total savings of up to RM10,000 for the XPower and Lux Extended variants, and RM7,000 for the Lux.

The newly introduced MG S5 EV range is also available, priced from RM107,900 for the COM, RM117,900 for the COM Long Range, and RM127,900 for the LUX Long Range. Each model comes with the Ultimate Ownership Package, offering customers either a complimentary 7kW AC wallbox or charging credits valued at up to RM10,000.

To top off the celebration, customers who book the MG Cyberster during the roadshow will receive an exclusive package that includes a one-year unlimited charging subscription with JomCharge (AutoCharge-enabled), a complimentary 7kW AC wallbox charger, and a limited-edition MG Cyberster diecast model.
