MYPerodua

The nation’s premier Perodua event – MYPerodua Nation – will be on from September 20 – 22 at the Setia City Oval Lawn in Setia Alam, Selangor, and Malaysia’s No. 1 carmaker expects some 25,000 people to attend – the biggest ever for the event.

“Following successful events in Shah Alam in 2017 and Sungai Petani in 2018, MYPerodua Nation 2019 promises an exciting and fun-filled weekend for all like never before,” said Perodua President & CEO, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Getting closer to customers
“MYPerodua Nation gives us an opportunity to get closer to our customers, learn more about their ever-changing needs and wants, and find out how we can best satisfy them. We are looking forward to doing a lot of on-ground engagement with the public over the 3-day event,” Dato’ Zainal said.

Perodua A.S.A.
Visitors will be able to experience Perodua’s A.S.A. driver assistance system which can automatically brake the car if the driver does not take action when a collision is likely.

Visitors can also make service appointments, inspect their vehicles with Tweckbot, test-drive the latest models, experience Advanced Safety Assist (ASA), take a trip through Perodua’s 26-year history at the Perodua Journey booth, and take part in fun competitions. Kids – who could one day also be Perodua’s customers – can enjoy the bungee trampoline, clay model colouring, virtual reality racing and drift tricycle activities.

There will also be a variety of performances and special appearances by renowned artistes such as Bunkface, Aman RA, Naim Daniel and more.

New Produa Axia
It’s no secret that there’s going to be a new Axia in the showrooms soon and orders are even being accepted. Chances are the company will use the event to showcase the new model.

“As a People First company that has put Malaysia on wheels for over a quarter of a century, Perodua owes much of its success to the Malaysian public. MYPerodua Nation therefore is as much a celebration of the Malaysian people as it is of Perodua. We dedicate it to all of you. See you there!” said Dato’ Zainal.

A team of Perodua volunteers paid a visit to the Sabah Women and Children Hospital recently, bearing gifts for the child patients as well as equipment and supplies for the hospital, in celebration of the Kaamatan season and to usher in the holy month of Ramadan.

The equipment and supplies contributed by Perodua consisted of two sets of Miller 3 straight laryngoscope blades with handle, worth RM1,800 each, plus 40 bed pillows with PVC covers. “We wish to acknowledge and thank the selfless staff of the Sabah Women and Children Hospital for their services to the people,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer YBhg Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

Together with Lego Malaysia, Perodua brought smiles to some 250 child patients by giving them the gift of play. Each was given a Lego playset along with other goodies by Perodua volunteers. “Perodua takes this opportunity to wish Kotobian Tadau Tagazo Do Kaamatan to all who celebrate. May this festival bring us all closer together, and we hope for a harvest just as plentiful next year,” said Datuk (Dr) Aminar.

Over on the peninsular, Perodua recently returned to Shan Children’s Home in Perai, Penang with a team of 10 volunteers from outlets in Penang and Kedah. The carmaker first visited Shan Children’s Home on the eve of Deepavali last year, when it contributed over RM20,000 in the form of goods and cash and announced its commitment to a three-year Corporate Responsibility programme with the home.

This time, Perodua arranged a bread-making class for the home’s 19 children, which they found entertaining and educational. The volunteers also helped with some spring cleaning and handed out soft toys to the children, making their day.

“There are so many ways we can help these children. Material and monetary help is welcome, but both are finite. By engaging the children in educational activities like this, we hope to equip them with skills and knowledge that will benefit them throughout their lifetime,” concluded Datuk (Dr) Aminar.

The nation’s favourite Perodua carnival is back to usher in the New Year, with additional deals on top of its on-going Happy New Ride campaign that offers RM2,000 off the Bezza Standard G and Alza, and RM1,500 off the Bezza Advance and Axia.

Following last year’s successful event in Shah Alam, the MYPerodua Nation carnival is going up north this weekend to Amanjaya Mall in Sungai Petani between 13 and 14 January, from 10 am to 10 pm.

“The MYPerodua Nation promises something for everyone. Experience the amazing journey with us as the nation’s number one carmaker and take advantage of our attractive promotions at the carnival,” Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin said.

Visitors can get up to 50% off selected parts, GearUp accessories and merchandise at the MYPerodua Nation carnival, and take advantage of Happy Hours on both days where even more attractive parts packages can be had.

MYPerodua Nation will also feature a special Compact Nation exhibition that tells the story of Perodua’s 25-year journey towards becoming the most preferred compact car maker in Malaysia.

“MYPerodua Nation is an annual event that represents one of our efforts to reach out and get closer to Malaysians. Last year we held this carnival in Shah Alam, and now we’re taking it nationwide, beginning with the northern region this year,” said Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin.

Visitors are invited to experience how the All-New Perodua Myvi’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) works through the demonstration, and enjoy performances by Aiman Tino, Aizat Amdan, Projector Band, Hazama, Siti Nordiana and even BoBoiBoy.

A lucky draw could see you walk away with a smartphone worth over RM3,000, and mini games, contests, food trucks and even an outdoor cinema promise a fun-filled two days for you and your family.

“With irresistible deals, games, giveaways and celebrity appearances at the MYPerodua Nation carnival, it’s a great way to start your 2018. We hope to see you there!” said Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin.
