Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today announced the revised prices of all Volkswagen models with the implementation of the Sales and Service Tax (SST) on the 1st of September 2018. With the exception of CBU models, the new prices of Volkswagen cars are now lower than previous prices with 6% GST. Additionally, the VPCM Price Protection Scheme (PPS) is still applicable for all models registered by the 15th of November 2018 and while stocks last. Since the introduction of PPS, VPCM has seen a rise in demand for Volkswagen models. While VPCM is doing its best to meet the demand, stocks are very limited and customers are urged to not delay placing their bookings.
Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM (above) said, “In line with the Government’s initiative, we are very pleased that the new tax structure has allowed us to be more competitive with our prices. With the new tax structure, the reduction of Volkswagen prices ranges from 1.5% (for the Tiguan Comfortline) to 2.6% (for the Vento Highline) compared against the previous tax structure with GST. We believe that the new prices, as well as our recently-introduced Price Protection Scheme (PPS) makes owning a Volkswagen even more attractive to Malaysians.”

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is set to make history once again with the launch of “Volkswagen Marketplace”, an e-platform where customers can reserve a Volkswagen car and enjoy exclusive online offers. A first-of-its-kind platform in Malaysia, Volkswagen Marketplace launches with an exclusive online-only deal on only 20 units of the Passat 1.8TSI Trendline Cyber.
These units are offered at an amazing online price of RM135,888 and comes with 5-year free maintenance, and 1-year free insurance. Customers will also be able to enjoy a low interest rate of 0.88% per annum on the Passat 1.8TSI Trendline Cyber.
Under the hood of the Passat 1.8TSI Trendline Cyber is the 1.8L TSI turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG). This combination provides an output of 180PS and torque of 250Nm between 1,250rpm and 5,000rpm. Four colours are available for the Passat – Pure White, Deep Black, Indium Grey and Reflex Silver.

This as an important development for the brand and we are very excited to be able to bring Volkswagen Marketplace to Malaysia. In line with the newly-revised GST rate of zero percent by the Malaysian Government, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today announced the updated prices of its model range, effective 1st of June 2018.
The new prices will remain in effect, pending the reimplementation of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) by the Government. The table below lists the current recommended retail price (RRP) of Volkswagen models (with 6% GST) and the new RRP (with 0% GST) valid from the 1st of June 2018.

As of 1st January 2018, all Volkswagen cars come with a free 3-year maintenance programme, which means customers will not have to worry about service cost for the first three years or 45,000km of ownership (whichever comes first). The programme covers all maintenance costs, as per the standard maintenance schedule, with the exception of wear-and-tear parts such as brake discs, pads, windscreen wipers and bulbs.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced a revised Service Maintenance Schedule for Volkswagen cars, effective 1st April 2018. The revised Service Maintenance Schedule also offers up to 26% savings for Volkswagen owners (calculated based on 5 years or 75,000km).
Florian Steiner, Managing Director of VPCM said that the move is in-line with the company’s continuous efforts to optimize the ownership experience and in giving owners peace-of-mind. “The revised Service Maintenance Schedule, paired with the three years’ free maintenance programme which we introduced on the 1st of January 2018, makes owning a Volkswagen even more cost-effective,” he added.
A list of the revised Service Maintenance Schedules for all current and previous Volkswagen models sold in Malaysia can be found in detail on the official Volkswagen website. The revised Service Maintenance Schedule is only applicable to models sold by the manufacturer, and does not cover models imported via unauthorized distributors.
This revised Service Maintenance Schedule is implemented, due to extended replacement intervals of certain components. This translates into better savings for the owner. However, Volkswagen technicians will still perform routine checks, as part of the standard service process and will advise accordingly, if any parts replacement is required.
