Mercedes V-Class arrives in Malaysia

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has officially announced the availability of the third generation V-Class six-seater people-carrier in Malaysia earlier this week.
Available in two variants (V 220 d and V 220 d Avantgarde), the V-Class is powered by Mercedes’ 2.1- litre turbodiesel engine that is capable of producing 163 hp and 380 Nm. The engine is coupled with a seven-speed 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
While standard features include automatic halogen reflector headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a single sliding door on the driver’s side, Audio 20 infotainment system, single-zone auto air-con, a 5.5-inch TFT LCD colour multi-info display, and Piano Black trim, the Avantgarde variant gets LED lights, a powered tailgate a partitioned load bay, chrome accents, and two sliding doors.

The Avantgarde model also features leather upholstery, which is complemented by dark brown ash wood-look trim, Nappa leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and gear lever, as well as ambient interior lighting, along with Agility Control suspension with selective damping.

Standard safety kit includes six airbags, stability control, hill-start assist, Attention Assist and Crosswind Assist.

The new V-Class is available for order at all authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers, with its price starting from RM 434, 888 (OTR without Insurance).
