Zeekr Malaysia marked a significant milestone with the official opening of Zeekr Sunway in the heart of Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, representing a major stride forward for the premium electric vehicle brand in the country. Spearheaded by Sunway Marketing, Zeekr’s pioneering dealer partner in Malaysia, the launch solidifies the company’s commitment to building a strong retail and service ecosystem in one of Malaysia’s most vibrant urban hubs.
The new establishment, which comprises the Zeekr Space Sunway City showroom and the adjacent Zeekr Sunway Service Centre, represents an investment exceeding RM10 million. Together, these facilities are designed to support every phase of the Zeekr ownership journey — from purchase and delivery to aftersales care — and reflect a holistic approach to customer engagement and satisfaction.
Zeekr Space Sunway City occupies an 11,100 square-foot footprint along Persiaran Lagoon, on the site of the former Sunway City helipad. The facility houses six dedicated display bays, showcasing the brand’s latest offerings such as the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009. It also includes two delivery bays, giving customers the opportunity to celebrate and capture the moment of receiving their new vehicle.
Inside, the showroom offers a premium experience with a comfortable customer lounge, interactive consultation spaces, and EV-friendly infrastructure, including four AC charging points. Plans are also in place to add fast DC charging facilities in the near future to further enhance user convenience.
Complementing the showroom is the Zeekr Sunway Service Centre, situated a short drive away along Jalan Lagoon Selatan. The 10,000 square-foot facility features advanced diagnostic and service equipment operated by certified technicians. It includes a customer service advisory area and comfortable waiting lounges to ensure a pleasant service experience. Additionally, the centre includes ample parts storage to support efficient maintenance and vehicle uptime, with flexibility built into the site to allow expansion to 20,000 square feet in response to future demand.
Sunway Marketing has played a key role in driving Zeekr’s commercial growth in Malaysia, having delivered over 500 vehicles since December 2024. With strong market momentum, the opening of Zeekr Sunway is seen as both a symbolic and strategic expansion.
Yeoh Yuen Chee, Chief Executive Officer of Sunway Trading & Manufacturing, said the establishment of Zeekr Sunway is a significant chapter in the brand’s local journey. He noted that the twin openings of Zeekr Space Sunway City and the service centre signal a deeper commitment to providing customers with a premium, seamless and sustainable ownership experience, not only within Sunway but across Malaysia.
To celebrate the launch, Sunway Marketing has introduced the “Win-a-Zeekr” Customer Appreciation Contest 2025. Running until 30 September 2025, the campaign gives customers who purchase and take delivery of Zeekr vehicles from either Zeekr Space Sunway City or Zeekr Space Petaling Jaya a chance to win a brand-new Zeekr X Premium. The lucky draw is weighted based on the model purchased, with customers receiving one entry for a Zeekr X, two for a Zeekr 7X, and three for the flagship Zeekr 009.
Zeekr Space Sunway City is now open to the public and welcomes visitors for test drives, consultations and vehicle purchases. Operating hours are from 9am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays. The Zeekr Sunway Service Centre provides full aftersales support from 9am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
