Nissan Navara X-Tremer Launches in Malaysia with Bold New Look and Enhanced Features

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has opened bookings for the New Nissan Navara X-Tremer, a pickup engineered to thrive both on city streets and in the rough. Marketed as more than just an update, the X-Tremer is being positioned as a statement of rugged capability and expressive style.

The Navara X-Tremer continues to deliver the model’s well-known toughness but now comes with sharper visual distinction. The front end wears a new black grille paired with an X-formation bumper cladding, while carbon fibre-look fender garnishes and black over-fenders further enhance its muscular stance. At the rear, a new shark fin antenna, a redesigned black bumper, and a bold tailgate decal make the truck instantly recognisable and set it apart from the standard Navara range.

Inside, Nissan has introduced a number of updates designed to blend durability with comfort. A soft-touch dashboard with double stitching, a modernised centre console and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a smooth-grain finish lift the overall cabin ambience. Technology plays a key role too, with an 8-inch infotainment screen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to ensure seamless connectivity. Seating has also been improved with stain-resistant QUOLE MODURE upholstery, designed to minimise heat build-up, while the Zero Gravity front seats continue to provide long-distance comfort and reduced fatigue.

Underneath, the Navara X-Tremer retains the tried-and-tested suspension setup that gives it a balance between stability and ride comfort. The system combines an independent double-wishbone with a front stabiliser bar and a multilink suspension with dual-rate coil springs, effectively reducing body toss and improving ride quality. Braking comes courtesy of ventilated discs at the front and drum brakes at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power even with heavy loads.

In terms of safety, the Navara X-Tremer benefits from Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as Intelligent Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. These are further supported by a comprehensive suite of active safety systems including ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control, Active Brake Limited Slip, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Trailer Sway Assist, and an electronic locking rear differential. Together, these features provide drivers with confidence and control across a wide range of conditions.

The New Nissan Navara X-Tremer is available in three variants: the 2.5L Turbo V priced at RM134,800 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM136,850 in Sabah and Sarawak; the 2.5L Turbo VL at RM146,900 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM148,950 in Sabah and Sarawak; and the flagship 2.5L Turbo PRO-4X at RM154,800 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM156,850 in Sabah and Sarawak. Adding further incentive, ETCM is offering customers who purchase and register the new model a cash rebate of up to RM8,000.

The Navara X-Tremer will make its public appearance at the Nissan Roadshow, which takes place at East Coast Mall in Kuantan from 10 to 14 September 2025. For Malaysians seeking a pickup that combines bold design with proven performance, this latest addition to the Navara line-up makes a compelling case.
