Porsche Breaks Ground on Experience Centre Singapore – Opening in 2027

Porsche Asia Pacific has officially begun work on its first regional Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) in Singapore, set to open doors in 2027. When completed, it will be the 11th facility of its kind worldwide and a major landmark for the brand in Southeast Asia.

Built on a sprawling 14-hectare site right next to Changi Airport, the new centre is being designed as more than just a playground for petrolheads. It will serve as a destination for families and enthusiasts alike, combining adrenaline-filled driving activities with lifestyle elements and event spaces.

At the heart of the development will be a two-kilometre handling circuit, supported by dynamic zones such as a drift circle and drift handling track. Visitors can also expect world-first features, rotating exhibitions, authentic displays from the Porsche Museum archives, immersive simulators, and a range of food and beverage options.

The Experience Centre will also break new ground for Porsche by housing a fully integrated, high-capacity Aftersales facility—something not yet seen in other PECs. Sustainability is a central pillar of the project, with an extensive electric vehicle fleet and eco-conscious infrastructure, aligning neatly with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030.

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together Porsche Asia Pacific staff and families, alongside key partners. The event was officiated by Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific, with the presence of Jean Ng from the Singapore Tourism Board, Oliver Kiesewetter of Changi Airport Group, and Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group, Porsche’s long-time partner in Singapore.

According to Porsche, the new Experience Centre marks a long-term commitment to Southeast Asia, underscoring the brand’s global expansion strategy. The company highlighted that the project will bring premium brand experiences closer to the region, positioning Singapore as a hub for enthusiasts while supporting broader tourism goals.

The Singapore Tourism Board echoed the sentiment, stating that the development complements its Tourism 2040 strategy by enhancing Singapore’s lifestyle and leisure offerings. By partnering with Porsche, STB aims to strengthen the island nation’s appeal as a destination that combines innovation with world-class experiences.

Ahead of the ceremony, Porsche AG and Porsche Asia Pacific formalised their partnership with Changi Airport Group by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement integrates the Experience Centre into the wider Changi precinct and paves the way for collaborations in visitor experiences, sustainability, and innovation.

Changi Airport Group has positioned the project as part of its broader vision of reimagining mobility and tourism within its precinct. The PEC will work in tandem with existing collaborations such as “Porsche at Jewel”, a permanent showcase within Changi’s iconic Jewel mall, blending retail, global cuisine, and curated car exhibits.

When completed, the Porsche Experience Centre Singapore will not only deliver an authentic brand immersion for drivers but also redefine how the German marque connects with customers and visitors in one of the world’s most dynamic tourism and aviation hubs.
