OMODA | JAECOO has continued its impressive global momentum, setting a new sales record in September 2025 with 32,840 vehicles delivered worldwide.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for the young dual-brand automaker, which has now surpassed 630,000 cumulative sales in just 29 months since its debut.
Between January and September 2025, OMODA | JAECOO sold a total of 244,522 vehicles globally — a 39% increase compared to the same period last year. The result underlines the brand’s rising strength as one of China’s fastest-growing international automotive players, with expanding presence across Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The company’s recent performance reflects a well-calibrated global strategy. In Latin America, markets like Brazil and Mexico saw rapid growth thanks to locally tailored products that suit regional driving habits and consumer preferences. Mexico alone recorded a 40% month-on-month sales increase in September, becoming one of the brand’s top-performing markets.
In Southeast Asia, demand remains strong, particularly in Thailand, where OMODA | JAECOO achieved over 4,000 sales in a single month — its best result yet. The brand credits its success there to detailed consumer research and an emphasis on design, comfort, and practicality suited to local expectations.
Meanwhile in Europe, the company bucked wider market slowdowns by exporting 11,663 units in September. Compliance with strict European safety and emissions standards has helped boost its credibility and appeal in mature markets, where quality and refinement are key.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) have become central to OMODA | JAECOO’s expansion story. In September, 18,999 of its total exports were NEVs — accounting for 57% of global deliveries — while total NEV sales for the first nine months of 2025 exceeded 110,000 units.
The brand’s growing hybrid line-up continues to deliver strong results. The O5 SHS-H, launched earlier this year, has already surpassed 10,000 units in just three months, earning praise for its modern styling and hybrid efficiency. Its sibling, the J7 SHS, also remains a global bestseller, recording 6,471 units in September and more than 70,000 units sold so far this year across ten markets including Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Thailand, and Australia.
Both models feature the brand’s advanced Super Hybrid System (SHS), designed to balance fuel economy, long-range capability, and smooth hybrid transitions.
Looking ahead, OMODA | JAECOO is preparing to launch the OMODA 9 SHS — a premium flagship hybrid SUV powered by a Quad-Motor AWD PHEV system producing 395 kW and 650 Nm of torque. Capable of sprinting from 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, the model will make its first public appearance at the upcoming Chery User Summit 2025, where it will showcase its performance through live demonstrations.
Central to OMODA | JAECOO’s global rise is its dual-brand strategy. OMODA caters to younger buyers with stylish crossovers that combine SUV practicality with sleek design, while JAECOO targets a more mature audience seeking off-road capability wrapped in refinement and comfort.
Together, the two brands now offer a complete range of sedans, SUVs, and off-road models that cater to different market segments and lifestyles.
Beyond product development, OMODA | JAECOO is also investing in user experience and smart mobility. In collaboration with AiMOGA, the brand introduced the Mojia Robot — a smart in-car companion designed to enhance interaction and convenience. The company also held its User Ecosystem Conference in October under the theme “CO-CREATE-DEFINE”, encouraging global customers to contribute feedback and ideas that shape future products and technologies.
The record-breaking September results cap off a strong year of progress for OMODA | JAECOO, demonstrating its ability to grow quickly while staying focused on innovation and quality. With continued investment in hybrid and electric technology, localised market strategies, and customer engagement, the brand is positioning itself as one of China’s most dynamic and forward-looking automotive names on the world stage.
