In conjunction with the 900,000th unit milestone, Honda Malaysia decided to celebrate its massive success here in the country by organising a special two-day ‘Road to 900,000th Unit Milestone Campaign’ carnival filled with fun activities for the whole family at the Bukit Jalil Stadium open car pack.

To ensure that the momentous occasion is as memorable as possible, Honda Malaysia did the unthinkable by giving away nine different Honda models to nine very lucky Malaysians earlier today. The first two winners were already announced before where they drove home with a brand new Civic and HR-V.

Earlier today, the rest of the seven winners got the surprise of a lifetime when luck was on their side as they emerged as brand new owners of the Honda models. This list of today’s ‘Road to 900,000th Unit Milestone Campaign’ winners are as follows.

According to Honda Malaysia’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr Toichi Ishiyama, “We are very grateful to all our customers for their support, which has made Honda a trusted car brand in Malaysia. We are very happy to reach such a significant milestone of 900,000th sales unit since our establishment in 2002 and we want to celebrate it with all Malaysians.”

“This campaign is made extra special as it is the first time Honda Malaysia collaborated with popular homegrown brands – Astro Radio, Tealive and Unifi – to give away the nine cars. Throughout the campaign period, we received encouraging feedback and active participation from Malaysians. Over 122,000 participations were received in two months! I would like to thank all Malaysians for their support and participation in this campaign as well as the nationwide tour,” added Mr. Ishiyama.

The 900,000 units sold here in Malaysia is one hell of achievement from Honda Malaysia ever since they rolled out the very first CKD CR-V model back in 2013. In total, around 95% of the Honda models sold here in Malaysia are CKD models compared to the 5% which are CBUs.

To date, the Honda City sits at the very top of the list with 37% followed by Civic at 15% and CR-V at 11% of the total units sold here in the country. Besides sales, Honda Malaysia has been working hard to ensure that their aftersales services from all of its 98 dealerships across Malaysia deliver quality experience for all of their customers.

We here at Piston. My would like to congratulate Honda Malaysia for this major achievement. For those who want to experience Honda’s momentous occasion, the carnival is happening all weekend long (28 & 29 September 2019) at the Bukit Jalil Stadium open car park. Loads of activities for the whole family awaits, together with all of Honda Malaysia’s current model, including a sneak preview of the Honda Civic with Honda Sensing.
