Michelin appoints new Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei

There’s a new Michelin Managing Director in town and his name is Tushar Gupta for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Replacing the highly regarded Pascal Nouvellon (who was promoted to a new global role over at Michelin HQ in France), Mr Gupta will be taking over the role which started back in September 2019.

“Having been with the Michelin family for almost a decade, I am excited to take us further in the automotive and tyre industry – especially in Malaysia where the market is strong and our presence is well-established through the Michelin, BFGoodrich and TYREPLUS brands. As I carry out my duties as the new Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, I aspire to pursue change in the consumer mindset when it comes to tyres and road safety, while also maintaining Michelin’s presence in the heart of our local consumers,” said Mr Gupta.

With vast experience in the world of Michelin thanks to his multiple roles in the past (Corporate Development Manager – SEA, Australia & India, Director of Global Corporate Development – France, Zone Director of Michelin Aviation Tyres – Asia Pacific),  Mr Gupta promises to uphold customer-focused policies as well as strengthen the overall retail experience across its dealers network.
