Mini Introduces The New Mini Countryman S ALL4

The Mini Countryman S ALL4, known for its versatile, powerful, and spacious design, continues to deliver brand-typical driving fun across various terrains. Combining the flexibility of a crossover with intelligent all-wheel drive, the new model offers increased interior space, featuring a rear seat backrest with a 40:20:40 split ratio for variable storage options. The luggage compartment, ranging from 450 to 1,450 litres, ensures adaptability for different needs.

Incorporating innovative assistance functions, partially automated Level 2 driving, and advanced digital features, the Mini Countryman S ALL4 enhances the driving experience.

The ALL4 all-wheel drive system enhances traction, safety, and driving stability, with precise electronic control for power distribution under various conditions. The model’s slightly increased track width and wheelbase provide a foundation for excellent driving dynamics and increased comfort. Additional wheel and tire combinations are available for an enhanced driving experience.

Featuring direct steering, a single-joint McPherson strut front axle, and multi-link rear axle, the Mini Countryman S ALL4 delivers the unmistakable Mini go-kart feeling. The chassis offers a balanced and comfortable or particularly sporty mode for diverse driving scenarios, with an optional adaptive chassis providing a 15mm lowering and frequency-selective dampers.

The Mini Countryman S ALL4, with a 218hp output and 360Nm torque from its 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, incorporates a 48V mild hybrid motor for low-speed range support and a temporary 14kW boost.

Introducing semi-automated driving on multi-lane routes, the Mini offers hands-free steering at speeds up to 60 km/h, with the driver closely monitoring traffic. The system assists in lane changes, identifying optimal gaps in traffic and automatically initiating the maneuver.

Maintaining its recognisable Mini design, the new Countryman showcases clear aesthetics with a tidy front, an octagonal front grille, and signature Mini LED headlamps. The design emphasises the model’s presence and solid off-road character, complemented by vertical rear lights for a sporty look.

The interior features clear shapes, a two-tone textile dashboard, a panoramic glass roof, and high-quality comfort seats. The Mini Experience Modes, highlighting different aspects of the adventurer, and the Mini Operating System 9 for intuitive control contribute to an immersive driving experience. The Mini Driving Sounds add a unique emotional atmosphere with specially composed sounds. The focus in the cockpit is on the high-resolution, round OLED display, and the Mini Interaction Unit facilitates the convenient operation of infotainment and assistance systems through touch or voice commands.

The design can be personalised through four trims — Essential, Classic, Favoured, and John Cooper Works — for both the exterior and interior.
