Tesla has initiated the delivery of its electric sedan, the Model 3, in Malaysia. The deliveries took place at Tesla’s Cyberjaya centre, marking a crucial step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy in the country. Customers received the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range variants at the Cyberjaya facility.
The Model 3 comes with refined exterior styling, optimised for maximum aerodynamics, and a redesigned interior. These updates promise improved range, a quieter ride, and additional features without compromising the thrilling performance that characterises Tesla models.
One of the notable features of the Model 3 is its V3 Supercharging capability, allowing the car to charge up to 282km in just 15 minutes. This feature enhances the charging experience for Tesla owners, providing efficient and quick recharging.
Simultaneously with the Model 3 deliveries, Tesla opened its Cyberjaya Service Centre, located at Persiaran APEC, Cyber 6. The service centre, covering around 22,000 square feet, offers a comprehensive one-stop service experience for Tesla owners. It includes Over-the-air (OTA) remote diagnosis, a 24/7 owner hotline, and the convenience of scheduling appointments through the Tesla mobile app.
Tesla also introduced Premium Connectivity, a service that enhances the driving experience by providing access to features that require data usage. This includes streaming music and media, live traffic visualization, and more. Premium Connectivity will be available through a monthly subscription at RM35.99 per month.
In addition to these offerings, Tesla owners in Malaysia are invited to join the official Tesla Owners Club Malaysia. This club provides members with exclusive privileges from various Tesla partners, creating a community that fosters engagement and collaboration.
The introduction of the Model 3 in Malaysia signifies Tesla’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions globally. The comprehensive service infrastructure, including Supercharging capabilities and service centres, aims to provide Tesla owners in Malaysia with a seamless and enriched ownership experience.
