Audi Introduces New Entry-Level e-tron GT quattro to Expand Gran Turismo Line-Up

Audi has broadened its Gran Turismo portfolio with the introduction of the e-tron GT quattro, a new entry point into the brand’s high-performance electric saloon family. This latest model joins the existing S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT, and the flagship RS e-tron GT performance, offering a refined balance of electric performance, daily practicality, and Gran Turismo styling.

The e-tron GT quattro is equipped with a dual-motor setup capable of delivering 496hp of power, with a temporary boost to 576hp available via Launch Control. Powered by a 105 kWh battery (97 kWh usable), the car provides an estimated range of up to 622km on a single charge, making it well suited for long-distance journeys and urban commuting alike.

Charging capabilities have been significantly enhanced, with the model supporting up to 320 kW of direct current fast charging. In optimal conditions, it can replenish up to 285km of range in just ten minutes. A thermal management system automatically conditions the battery when navigating to high-power chargers, ensuring peak charging efficiency with minimal waiting time.

In terms of design, the e-tron GT quattro remains true to Audi’s Gran Turismo ethos. Its long wheelbase, coupe-style silhouette, and large wheels contribute to its sporty, yet elegant proportions. A drag coefficient of 0.24, combined with adaptive air intakes, promotes energy efficiency while reducing noise for a more serene driving experience.

The front fascia features a distinctive black mask framing the body-coloured Singleframe grille, while the rear is finished with an integrated diffuser accented by vertical fins, adding a touch of performance flair to the design.

Inside, the cabin has been engineered with both comfort and practicality in mind. A recessed battery layout beneath the floor creates additional foot space, offering ample rear passenger room. The driver and front passenger are seated in contoured eight-way adjustable sports seats with integrated headrests, designed to provide comfort on longer trips. The rear seats fold partially or completely to expand the 405-litre rear luggage compartment, complemented by an additional 77 litres of storage in the front.

Handling is bolstered by Audi’s advanced quattro all-wheel-drive system, which distributes torque between the axles instantaneously based on road conditions and driver input. This precision-controlled setup allows the e-tron GT quattro to maintain optimum traction and stability in a wide range of driving environments. The new model is also around 30 kilograms lighter than the S e-tron GT, enhancing its agility and overall efficiency.

Production of the e-tron GT quattro is underway at Audi Sport GmbH’s Böllinger Höfe facility in Neckarsulm, alongside its more powerful siblings. The model is now open for orders in Europe, with pricing starting from €108,900 (RM522,393).
