Zeekr has revealed the 2026 Zeekr 001, a heavily updated version of its full-size electric shooting brake that blends performance, luxury, and next-generation technology. The refreshed model is available in four variants — Max 95 kWh AWD, Max 103 kWh RWD, Ultra 103 kWh AWD, and Ultra+ 103 kWh AWD.
Although it remains a facelift rather than a full redesign, the new Zeekr 001 introduces notable styling tweaks that give the car a sharper, more cohesive look. The front bumper now features a wider horizontal grille pattern paired with sleeker air ducts, while the rear end has been cleaned up with the removal of triangular reflectors. Two new paint options, Mysterious Purple and Star Grey, join the colour palette alongside five returning finishes, adding to the car’s visual appeal.
Inside, Zeekr has completely reworked the cabin with a stronger focus on digital integration and passenger comfort. A 16-inch 3.5K central touchscreen takes centre stage on the dashboard, supported by a 13.02-inch digital cluster and a massive 39.3-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD). Rear passengers also get an 8-inch control display for seat and climate adjustments.
The car’s interior ambience is elevated by a 256-colour ambient lighting system, a 29-speaker Zeekr Sound Max audio setup delivering 4,680 watts of power, and a panoramic glass roof with a starry pattern finish.
Seat comfort has been significantly enhanced, with all seats offering heating, ventilation, and a new 3D deep-tissue massage function. The front seats now feature 20 massage points — double that of the previous version — while the rear seats recline up to 125 degrees and include powered leg rests and footrests, adding a near first-class experience for passengers.
Under the skin, Zeekr has moved to a more advanced 900V electrical platform, replacing the previous 800V setup. The dual-motor versions deliver a combined output of 912hp and 925Nm of torque, enabling brutal acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.83 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h. The 103 kWh ternary-lithium battery gives the car a CLTC-rated range of up to 810 km, and with support for 12C ultra-fast charging, it can recharge from 10% to 80% in just seven minutes — a benchmark figure even by premium EV standards.
Ride quality and handling benefit from a closed dual-chamber air suspension system with up to 85 mm of ride height adjustability and a maximum clearance of 206 mm. The setup works with Zeekr’s CCD adaptive damping and the “Smart Magic Carpet” control system, designed to automatically adjust suspension characteristics based on road conditions for an ultra-smooth drive.
On the technology front, the 2026 Zeekr 001 adopts the brand’s latest H7 driver assistance system, powered by a Thor-U chip with 700 TOPS of processing capability. The hardware package includes 31 sensors, among them a LiDAR unit, enabling advanced autonomous driving features and real-time environmental awareness. A distinctive blue-light indicator shows when the car’s driver assistance systems are active.
In a move that highlights Zeekr’s commitment to its existing owners, the company also confirmed that current Zeekr 001 models equipped with LiDAR will be eligible for an H7 system retrofit. The upgrade programme, which will operate through a crowdfunding model, is expected to launch in November.
