Mercedes-Benz EQC goes into production – First all-electric Mercedes

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is finally going into full production mode and orders are beginning to come in for the electric vehicle ahead of its global launch. Produced at the brand’s Bremen plant which is also known as the world’s largest Mercedes production facility, the full-electric SUV is ensured with the highest production standards when it comes to manufacturing and assembly.

According to Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, “With the Mercedes-Benz EQC, we are entering a new era of mobility. It is part of the growing family of all-electric vehicles at Mercedes-Benz and combines brand-defining features such as quality, safety and comfort. We offer our customers progressive design and unique ride comfort – and this with a range absolutely suitable for everyday use.”

The EQC 400 4MATIC will be the electric vehicle pioneer with avant-garde design that is seamless, clean, and full of highlights synonym to the premium vehicle brand. Combined with the ultimate goal of electric mobility and everyday convenience, the EQC will be able to travel up to 470km for every single full charge.

As for pricing, the Mercedes-Benz ‘s first all-electric vehicle will start at €71,281 (around RM331,057) in Germany for the base model. With its effortlessly superior driving impression, high level of acoustic comfort and exciting driving dynamics, the EQC displays all the brand’s hallmark attributes – the Mercedes of electric vehicles.
