Tesla Model 3 Facelift Malaysian Pricing Revealed

The Malaysian pricing for the new Tesla Model 3 Facelift, codenamed Project Highland, has been unveiled on the company’s official website. It is available in two variants: the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive.

The Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at RM189,000. It boasts a WLTP range of 513km, with a top speed of 201km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds.

The Long Range Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive variant is priced at RM218,000. It offers a WLTP range of 629km, a top speed of 201km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

The car is available in a Pearl White Multi-Coat base color, with additional colors available at an extra cost:

Solid Black: RM5,000
Deep Blue Metallic: RM5,000
Stealth Grey: RM7,500
Ultra Red: RM11,000

Standard wheels include 18’’ Photon Wheels, and there is an optional 19’’ Nova Wheels upgrade available for RM7,500. The car has a weight of 1,765kg, a width of 2,089mm, a height of 1,441mm, and a length of 4,720mm. For comparison, the Model Y has a width of 1,920mm, a height of 1,623mm and a length of 4,750mm.

The standard interior color is black, with an optional black and white theme available for RM5,000. The cabin offers a quieter experience thanks to wrap-around acoustic glass and introduces new features such as ambient lighting and ventilated seats.

Enhancing the interior is a high-resolution 15.4” center touchscreen that’s now even more vibrant. Rear-seat passengers can access climate controls and entertainment via the new 8” second-row display.

The car features a new Tesla-designed premium audio system comprising 17 speakers, including dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers for Long Range variants, and 9 speakers with a single amplifier for Rear-Wheel Drive variants. It supports Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.

A redesigned console allows for wireless charging of two mobile phones. You can also fast-charge laptops and more with one front and two rear USB-C charging ports, each providing up to 65W of power.

Available options include the Enhanced Autopilot, priced at RM16,000, and the Full Self-Driving Capability, available for RM32,000.

According to the website, estimated deliveries are slated for late 2023, with a non-refundable order fee of RM1,000.
