Thieves Target Catalytic Converters Of Toyota Cars

According to recent reports, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of catalytic converter thefts and the most targeted automaker is Toyota.

Well, first of all, what is a catalytic converter? The catalytic converter is part of the car’s emissions control system. It cleans up the exhaust gases before they are expelled from the car through the exhaust pipe. Its internal elements react with the gases, breaking them down into less harmful substances and water vapour. All cars sold in Europe since 1993 have had to be fitted with catalytic converters by law.

Mercedes-Benz Introduces 2024 E-Class Estate

Mercedes is aware that not all customers desire an SUV. It has not only added an estate version to the most recent C-Class, but it is also preserving the long-roof E-Class for at least another generation.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate models have been a consistent success for estate cars in the higher mid-range and luxury class since they first debuted in 1977. The latest model in this range of sporty space sensations, the E-Class Estate from model series 214, is the seventh generation.

Its wheelbase has been stretched by 22 mm to 2961 mm for additional legroom while the width has increased by 28 mm to 1880 mm for greater elbow room. Length is up by 4 mm to 4949 mm and height has slightly increased by 1 mm to 1469 mm.

This is considerably the biggest of the three Mercedes wagons and is even larger than its predecessor.

Ford Says US Not Ready To Compete With China In EV Production

Bill Ford Jr., executive chairman of Ford Motor Co., stated that his business is putting “all hands on deck” to prepare for electric vehicles because the US is “not quite ready” to compete with China in the manufacture of EV’s.

According to Bill, China has developed very quickly, and they’ve developed them on a large scale, and now they are exporting. China is on track to overtake the United States as the second-largest exporter of passenger cars, which could fundamentally alter the global auto market and challenge the dominance of its rivals and trading partners in the auto sector.

New Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition Launched In Malaysia – RM174,900

Nearly two years following the Suzuki Jimny’s comeback to the Malaysian market, Naza Eastern Motors Sdn Bhd has released the Jimny Rhino edition. This limited-edition model intends to revive consumer interest in Suzuki’s famous Jimny and give buyers a unique ownership experience.

A Jimny Lifestyle Drive was held to mark the debut of this new edition. Mohamad Irwan Shahril, Chief Operating Officer of Naza Eastern Motors, and more than 30 Jimny owners participated in a convoy drive from the Suzuki Cars Petaling Jaya Showroom to the Malaysia 4WD Training & Experience Centre (M4TREC) in Semenyih where the Jimny Rhino Edition was unveiled. This was followed by an off-road demonstration and exercise by Suzuki Jimny instructors.

Ford Ranger WildTrak Wins Pick-up Truck Of The Year Award

The new Ford Ranger WildTrak has won the ‘Pick-up Truck of the Year’ award at the Allianz DSF.my Vehicle of the Year (VOTY) Awards 2023, which was presented by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the official distributor for Ford in Malaysia.
