Nissan Unveils Futuristic Nissan Hyper Tourer EV Concept

Nissan has revealed the Nissan Hyper Tourer, the latest addition to its lineup of advanced electric vehicle (EV) concepts, set to be showcased at the Japan Mobility Show starting on October 25. The concept embodies the spirit of Japanese hospitality (omotenashi) and incorporates cutting-edge technologies, including autonomous driving and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) functionality, enabling electricity supply to homes and businesses during travel.

The exterior design combines smooth body panels and sharp character lines, reflecting traditional Japanese aesthetics and presenting an imposing yet harmonious appearance. The white waistline serves as both a headlight and signature lamp, and the kumiko-patterned wheels and sleek body lines add a premium touch to the concept’s class.

The innovative car packaging, driven by Nissan’s EV Technology Vision, facilitates a spacious interior with an ultra-low center of gravity. This, combined with the advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel control system, ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration. The interior incorporates traditional Japanese kumiko and koushi patterns, an overhead console, and a lighting setup for a luxurious ambiance. The flat LED panel on the floor projects imagery of a riverbed and the sky, creating a relaxing environment blending digital and nature.

The Nissan Hyper Tourer features fully autonomous driving, allowing passengers to engage with each other while travelling. The front seats can swivel 360 degrees, enabling face-to-face discussions. Rear-seat passengers can use a wearable display to interact with the front-seat centre display. An innovative AI system monitors biometric signs and tailors music and lighting to suit the passengers’ moods.

Further news on this will be available during the Japan Mobility Show.
