Mate Rimac, the visionary founder of the Rimac Group, has stirred excitement among enthusiasts with a recent social media teaser hinting at a new model set to be unveiled on June 26. The glimpse suggests a hatchback-like model, shrouded in mystery and urban allure, accompanied by futuristic music evoking a sense of innovation.

While Rimac has made waves in the realm of high-performance electric vehicles, such as the acclaimed Nevera electric hypercar, the teased model appears to deviate from the traditional hot hatch concept exemplified by Rivian’s R3 and R3X models. Speculation swirls around the possibility of this unveiling being linked to Rimac’s ambitious robotaxi project, known as Project 3 Mobility, which has been in development for the past five years.

Initially announced in 2021 and supported by automotive giants Kia and Hyundai, Project 3 Mobility aims to revolutionise urban transportation by introducing autonomous robotaxis. The project is slated to debut in Rimac’s home city of Zagreb, Croatia, with plans for expansion to 20 cities across Europe and the Middle East by 2026. The teaser’s windshield angle, reminiscent of the iconic Johnny Cab robotaxi from the film “Total Recall,” further fuels speculation regarding the model’s design and purpose.

As Rimac Group prepares to unveil its latest innovation on June 26, anticipation mounts for the potential debut of a futuristic, hatchback-inspired vehicle poised to redefine urban mobility through cutting-edge technology and visionary design.

Audi enthusiasts are in for a treat as the brand teases the highly anticipated new Audi S3, accompanied by camouflaged photos showcasing both the Sportback and Saloon variants. Powered by a robust 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, the S3 promises nothing short of an exhilarating driving experience, boasting 328hp and 420Nm of torque at your command.

Thanks to recent enhancements, the 2.0-litre TFSI four-cylinder engine receives a notable boost, delivering an additional 23hp and 20Nm of torque. This ensures abundant power for dynamic drives, with robust pulling force and spirited acceleration available across a wide RPM range from 2,100 to 5,500rpm. Accelerating from 0-100km/h takes a mere 4.7 seconds, with the top speed gracefully capped at 249km/h.

Adding to the excitement, the turbocharger receives a pre-boost, ensuring rapid and smooth power delivery. Whether cruising or gently accelerating, the turbocharger maintains a steady spin, guaranteeing a consistent stream of power. Moreover, with the throttle valve remaining open during high-performance moments, drivers can anticipate enhanced engine responsiveness.

The extended duration of the throttle valve’s openness translates to accelerated torque delivery, resulting in an even livelier engine response, particularly noticeable in dynamic mode or with the new dynamic plus profile engaged.

Equipped with a torque splitter, the Audi S3 promises enhanced agility and stability, complemented by larger brakes and performance tyres to elevate handling prowess. Furthermore, a sportier transmission featuring Audi’s seven-speed S tronic transmission adds to the driving thrill, promising seamless gear shifts and heightened performance on every journey.

More information will be available when the Audi S3 makes its official debut.

Lancia has teased its upcoming Ypsilon model, marking the brand’s return to new product releases after a hiatus since 2011. Set to debut next month, the new Ypsilon showcases a distinctive design with influences from the Pu-Ra HPE concept and iconic Lancia models such as the 037 and Stratos.

While the design exudes a sharp and city-friendly appearance, it also reflects similarities with other Stellantis products, including the Opel Corsa and Peugeot 208, owing to shared underpinnings among brands within the group. The new Ypsilon will be offered with hybrid and fully electric powertrains, aligning with the industry’s shift toward electrification.

For the electric variant, expectations point to a 52-kilowatt-hour battery pack and a single electric motor on the front axle, providing a peak output of 156hp.

Toyota has unveiled a teaser image of the next-generation Camry that oozes mystery and excitement, two adjectives rarely associated with the sensible sedan. The enigmatic single image showcases a car adorned with Prius-style daytime running lights (DRLs), prominent air intakes, and side bumper canards, suggesting the involvement of Toyota’s performance-oriented GR division.

While the Prius-like lights catch the eye, it’s clear that this isn’t a Prius, as the mirrors and the wing-to-fender line are distinct. All signs point to this being a sneak peek at the 2025 Camry, with Toyota choosing to provide a preview in the form of a GR concept. The automaker has shared minimal details, presenting only a single image accompanied by the headline “A New Dawn is Coming” and a teaser question, “Can you guess what’s on the horizon?”

2022 Toyota Camry

As of now, specific technical information about the upcoming Camry remains scarce. It’s reported to be built on an evolved TNGA-K platform, and while no powertrain details have been disclosed, it’s anticipated that a range of internal combustion engines and hybrid options will continue to be available.

Given that this is our first glimpse, there’s no insight into the car’s interior. However, Toyota’s recent models, including the Prius and Crown, feature a large portrait-oriented infotainment screen atop the centre stack. The Camry has a strong track record of offering advanced safety technology, and it’s likely this trend will persist in the new iteration.

The teaser image raises questions and anticipation, leaving enthusiasts and Toyota aficionados eagerly awaiting more information about this bold and enigmatic next-generation Camry.
