Seventh Mitsubishi Motors Outlet In Johor Opens in Kluang

Mitsubishi owners in Kluang, Johor, now have a more convenient location to go to when they need aftersales services or to purchase their next Mitsubishi vehicle. A new Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre (Sales, Service & Spare parts) operated by K.M. Lim Auto Sdn Bhd has opened in Taman Tasik Indah to serve the surrounding areas.

The new dealership brings the number of outlets in Johor to seven. Nationwide, the Mitsubishi Motors brand is represented by 55 outlets (out of which 50 are 3S Centres) and 56 service centres. In East Malaysia, there are 14 showrooms (7 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah).

The dealership occupies a 2-storey shoplot with a built-up area of 10,000 square feet. Its representation of the Mitsubishi Motors brand can be immediately seen with the brand identity in the external appearance which relates to the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’.

Customers visiting the outlet can view the latest models such as the Triton and XPANDER and if they bring children, there’s a kids corner to keep the occupied. The adjacent service centre is fully equipped with the necessary equipment and has trained technicians to provide full services on Mitsubishi vehicles. Owners who wish to wait can do so in a comfortable lounge with complimentary wifi and other amenities.

“In line with Mitsubishi Motors’ business plan, we are continuing to advance our dealer’s network expansion to better enhance our customers’ touch points. Through this strategic move, our aim is to cover untapped locations and extend our sales and services to meet the growing demands of the Mitsubishi brand, we want to ensure our customers have greater coverage and accessibility of showrooms and service centres in an area that is convenient to them,” said Shinya Ikeda, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

Mr. Ikeda said that K.M. Lim Auto has been in the automotive business since 1986, and is very experienced in the business. “We welcome them to the Mitsubishi Motors family and we are confident that the new 3S centre will improve the visibility of Mitsubishi Motors in Kluang, and deliver a pleasant ownership experience that goes beyond expectations,” he added.

Currently, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia distributes the Triton pick-up truck and XPANDER MPV in Malaysia. While the Triton comes from Thailand in completely built-up (CBU) form, the XPANDER is assembled locally at the HICOM Automotive Manufacturers complex in Pekan, Pahang.
