The “Ice Race Edition” of the RS e-tron GT has just been introduced by Audi. The same-named idea, which was originally developed to commemorate Audi Sport GmbH’s 40th anniversary, served as the inspiration for this special edition. The RS e-tron GT Ice Race Edition, which is only available to European consumers in quantities of 99, showcases Audi’s wide range of personalisation possibilities.
The exterior has a black carbon roof, white emblems, and 21-inch black wheels in addition to a Florett silver metallic paint finish. The full-body foil wrap with deliberately positioned translucent patches to resemble the look of snow crystals and ice lakes is a key design feature. Ski goggles serve as the design inspiration for the purple embellishments, which are predominantly found around the grille and give the piece a distinctive look.
Inside, Audi has incorporated diamond silver leather inserts into the seats, creating a striking contrast with the black leather upholstery and purple stitching. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and Alcantara, featuring a diamond silver emblem at the top. Special RS logos adorn the floor mats.
In terms of performance, there are no mechanical alterations compared to the standard Audi RS e-tron GT. It retains its dual electric motors, delivering a combined output of 637hp and drawing power from a 93.4 kWh battery pack.
The Audi RS e-tron GT Ice Race Edition is set to be produced in limited quantities, with only 99 units allocated for the European market. However, specific pricing details for this exclusive model have not been disclosed at this time.
Seven fully electric Audi e-tron models were formally introduced to the Malaysian market by PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM), including the Audi RS e-tron GT.
