Touch ‘n Go Now Has Personal Accident Insurance

Touch ‘n Go Group has launched ParkInsure, a unique insurance/takaful product for users who utilise the Touch ‘n Go card for parking. For just RM5 per month, users can access this coverage seamlessly through the GOprotect digital hub on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet platform.

They can choose between takaful from Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad or conventional insurance from Allianz Malaysia Berhad. This offering provides affordable coverage for personal accidents, enhancing the convenience and security of Touch ‘n Go transactions.

ParkInsure comes with several helpful benefits:

Accidental Death or Disablement Coverage: If an accident happens within the car park compound leading to permanent disablement or accidental death, users can get reimbursed up to RM70,000.
Snatch Theft Inconvenience Benefit: In case of snatch theft within the car park area, users can receive up to RM1,500 to cover inconveniences.
Forcible Car Break-Ins: If a car break-in occurs in the car park, users are eligible for reimbursement up to RM1,500.
Key Reimbursement: If a user’s car key is stolen or damaged during coverage, a reimbursement fee of up to RM200 is provided.

These benefits provide protection and support for various situations that might happen in the car park, making ParkInsure a helpful addition for Touch ‘n Go card users.

In the conventional plan, users get extra benefits like up to RM200 for transportation charges to the hospital due to a car park accident and RM10 if their enhanced Touch ‘n Go card is lost to snatch theft in the car park.

For the takaful plan, users receive a different benefit. They can get up to RM200 for inconveniences if their car is damaged in a car park accident. These additional benefits are meant to provide more support and convenience for users in different situations while using their Touch ‘n Go cards for parking.

Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can subscribe to the ParkInsure insurance/takaful plan in under 3 minutes using GOprotect. They have the choice between takaful and conventional plans. The process ensures hassle-free claims through the insurers’ 24/7 claim hotline. Additionally, users can conveniently manage and access their policies/certificates through the “My Policies” tab on their eWallet app, streamlining their experience.

Lotus Emira i4 First Edition Debuts – Special Price Of RM998,800

Lotus Cars Malaysia has officially announced the availability of the 2.0-litre Emira i4 in First Edition form for booking. This special offer comes at a price of RM998,800 on-the-road fully taxed, but it is important to note that this pricing is only applicable to cars produced in the year 2023 before the standard pricing takes effect. First deliveries will start in November. The regular price for the Emira i4 in Peninsular Malaysia will be RM1,095,000, while it will be priced at RM509,000 in the duty-free region of Langkawi.

Malaysian Actor Wants RM1.85mil For MAFIA Number Plate

Number plates have evolved into distinctive canvases that represent personal hobbies, funny statements, and even status symbols. They are no longer limited to simple letter and digit combinations for identifying reasons. These number plates can be sold or auctioned for a large sum of money.

Take for instance, Azhar Sulaiman, a local actor, who intends to auction his vehicle’s registration plate, MAF14, with bidding commencing at a minimum price of RM1.85 million. The actor uploaded the announcement through their Instagram social media account.

“The only MAFIA title to be released. Bidding starts at RM1.85 million. If you’re a true mafia, make a bid if you dare,” he stated. Behar, the amiable alias of Azhar Sulaiman, also provided a portion of the Vehicle Motor Licence (LKM) as proof that he was the rightful owner of the MAF14 registration number.

So if you have RM1.85 million laying around, and you feel like a Godfather, you may contact the actor to purchase it.

Used Car Industry Set To Be Hit Hard By EV and ESG Push!

Industry experts predict challenges for the internal combustion engine (ICE) driven second hand car market due to the growing focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Honda Malaysia Delivers 2,200 WR-V Units In A Month

In a recent update, Honda Malaysia has reported delivering 2,200 units of the all-new WR-V in just a single month following its official launch in July 2023.

The corporation additionally marked the first customer who placed a reservation for Honda’s compact SUV in Malaysia. This was observed through an official handover event held in early August at Accord Auto Sdn. Bhd. As a token of gratitude to mark this significant occurrence, the customer was granted Honda accessories, ultra glass body coating, and official merchandise, with a combined value of RM5,000.

Gunther Werks Reveals 911 Touring Turbo With 750hp

In time for the brand’s sixth appearance at the Quail event, Gunther Werks, specialists in Porsche recreations, recently unveiled their most current rendition of the 993 platform. This new turbocharged behemoth, known as the Touring Turbo Edition, which has vintage design cues as a testament to the final chapter of the air-cooled period.

In contrast to the prominent wing, the Touring variant features a subtle ducktail rear spoiler, drawing inspiration from the 1972 Carrera 2.7 RS. The intention is to achieve a more refined and elegant appearance rather than an aggressive one. This concept aligns with Porsche’s approach to their Touring models.

Novitec Takes On The Ferrari 812 Competizione

Novitec needs no introduction, but for the uninitiated, the company specialises in making unique changes for well-known Italian automakers including Ferrari, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lamborghini.
