Mercedes-AMG has unveiled an updated version of its GT63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe, reinforcing its position as a formidable super-sedan in the European market. This refresh brings subtle design enhancements and added features, elevating an already powerful and stylish package.

Exterior Updates

The 2024 GT63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe has received a notable front-end facelift, drawing design cues from the new AMG GT Coupe. The lower grille opening is now broader and narrower, with redesigned outboard intakes sporting sporty vertical slits. Multibeam LED headlights frame the grille, now taller and adorned with additional black trim along the bottom, enhancing its aggressive stance.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the formidable Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé, amplifying its position as a trendsetter in the compact performance segment with a range of innovative enhancements. This model is more than just a performance car; it’s a statement of power and style.

Exterior

It boasts a distinctive AMG-specific radiator grille adorned with vertical slats, emphasizing its brand affiliation. Its front apron has been reshaped, complemented by a round badge featuring the iconic AMG emblem. The inside of the headlights showcases the Multibeam LED technology, further enhancing its visual appeal.

For personalisation, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S offers exciting new paint colours including hyper blue and spectral blue. Additionally, options like Manufaktur Mountain grey MAGNO and Manufaktur Patagonia red metallic paint are available for those seeking a touch of individuality.

The car comes standard with 19” AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels in a striking matte black finish with high-sheen rim flange, accentuated by red painted brake calipers. Customers also have the option to choose 19” AMG cross-spoke forged wheels or 19” AMG 5-twin-spoke light alloy wheels.

Interior

The most potent AMG C-class, the C63, sacrificed the V-8 for a turbocharged hybridised four-cylinder engine, and the impending E63, the next top-of-the-line E-class, will get by with an inline-six plug-in hybrid system. Some claim that this isn’t competitive enough to compete with the twin-turbo inline-six BMW M3 and the upcoming hybrid twin-turbo V-8 BMW M5.

According to reports, Mercedes-Benz has said that the V8 is returning, and not only to the C63. Also allegedly receiving V8 power again is the E63. The 831hp AMG GT63 S E Performance and the 791hp AMG S63 both employ this engine, and both of those cars pair it with a hybrid system.

Following the recent introduction of the new Mercedes GLC and GLC Coupe, the German carmaker today unveiled the AMG versions of those two SUVs. The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 and the 2025 GLC63 S E Performance are two of the GLC’s most powerful variants to date.

Mercedes-AMG-GLC43

The GLC43, which combines a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine with an integrated starter generator to create 416 horsepower, continues to be the “base” AMG of the group. The starting generator offers an extra 13 horsepower while operating at lower speeds.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the updated A-Class family with a facelifted appearance and the latest iteration of the MBUX Infotainment system.

The A 200 Progressive Line, A 250 4MATIC AMG Line, and AMG A 35 4MATIC are the three locally built variations of the A-Class saloon that are still available. The top-of-the-line Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ is still offered as a Hatchback in a limited number of units as AMG Street Style Edition.

The renowned roadster classic of Mercedes-AMG, the new, special Mercedes-AMG SL 43, has been unveiled by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today with a sportier and more opulent appearance.

The SL has undergone a transition over the course of its 70-year development history from a thoroughbred racing car to an open-top luxury sports car, and this represents another significant turning point for the brand.

It is the first car in the world with an electronic exhaust gas turbocharger. This technique, which originated in Formula 1, resolves the trade-off between a big supercharger with high peak power but slow response and a compact supercharger with a fast response but relatively low peak power.

As the teams begin their phased unveiling of the new cars for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship, the FIA has also confirmed that 6 manufacturers have registered as Power Unit Suppliers for the 2026 – 2030 seasons of the championship.

The manufacturers that will supply the F1 power units are Alpine Racing, Audi, Ferrari, Honda Racing Corporation, Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains and Red Bull Ford. It’s interesting that Honda has signed up to be an engine manufacturer after 2025 when Red Bull Racing, which will use its engines until then, will switch to a new power unit jointly developed with Ford (and so will Scuderia AlphaTauri).
