The Concept CLA-Class electric car, which Mercedes-Benz revealed in Munich, provides a preview of what the next complete redesign of the CLA would look like. The usage of existing elements here suggests that many of the components shown in this idea will probably be included in the following-generation CLA.

The Concept CLA-Class, built on the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), features a sleek and aerodynamic design. Inside, it incorporates sustainable interior materials, reflecting the growing trend towards eco-friendly automotive options.

The Concept CLA maintains the distinctive and iconic “four-door coupe” design, a hallmark of the CLA nameplate since its introduction in 2014. However, designers have refined its appearance by elongating the hood and shortening the rear deck, achieving sportier proportions. The concept is adorned in a striking Pomegranate Red paint color, further enhancing its visual appeal.

The redesigned front bumper serves to enhance the visual width of the vehicle’s front fascia, contributing to a more commanding presence.

Turning our attention to the rear, Mercedes has undertaken modifications to the lighting within the expansive taillight, resulting in a rejuvenated visual identity. These subtle alterations, in addition to the introduction of two new colour options – Starling Blue and Cirrus Silver – serve to complete the array of exterior revisions.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE Saloon demonstrates its advanced capabilities through the Remote Parking Package and Mercedes me connect service’s Intelligent Park Pilot feature. This innovation offers heightened automation and driverless parking at SAE Level 4 autonomy. The Automated Valet Parking service is also available for compatible EQS Saloon and S-Class Saloon models. This marks the expansion of highly automated parking, including integration into upcoming Mercedes-Benz models like the E-Class.

The highly automated parking function offers several benefits. Firstly, it eliminates the need for manual parking, saving customers both time and hassle. This convenience is particularly noticeable in tight parking garages. Using the Mercedes me App, the driver can reserve a parking spot beforehand. Upon arriving at the parking garage, they simply drop off the car in a designated area and activate the parking process via the app. Once the Automated Valet Parking infrastructure assumes control, the driver can leave the garage.

The most potent AMG C-class, the C63, sacrificed the V-8 for a turbocharged hybridised four-cylinder engine, and the impending E63, the next top-of-the-line E-class, will get by with an inline-six plug-in hybrid system. Some claim that this isn’t competitive enough to compete with the twin-turbo inline-six BMW M3 and the upcoming hybrid twin-turbo V-8 BMW M5.

Between 1996 and 2003, Mercedes-Benz produced the Vito of the first generation.

As a more opulent and upmarket variant, the body style was also offered under the V-Klasse brand (the V-Klasse name was dropped for the second generation of the Vito). In November 2017, the eVito, an electric panel van variation utilising the W447 chassis, was released.

The EQV, with a more potent drivetrain and a larger battery than the eVito, was shown as a concept at the March 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It is an electric version of the V-Class that uses the same Vito W447 chassis.

This year, Mercedes-Benz Vans has introduced its refreshed medium-sized series with a new exterior and interior design. The series consists of the new EQV, V-Class and V-Class Marco Polo, the new eVito and Vito.
