According to some news portals, major carmakers Ford, Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo, Polestar and others have begun phasing out AM Radio. But this has not been received well by some parties including the authorities.
The big news about AM came via a social media post by Ford CEO Jim Farley following a barrage of criticism from politicians and customers alike. Everyone was concerned about the fact that many emergency notifications are broadcast on AM radio stations.

A unique kind of in-car gaming will be made available for the first time in the new BMW 5 Series thanks to a partnership between the BMW Group and the game platform AirConsole. While the car is still, the driver and passengers can spend the time by playing ‘casual games’. The AirConsole app will progressively be made available in other BMW automobiles in addition to the new BMW 5 Series that was just launched.
N-Dream AG is a Zurich-based firm that is revolutionising the video game business and is the creator of AirConsole. AirConsole is driving the advancement of casual gaming in automobiles in collaboration with BMW.
A special BMW i5 with a distinctive gaming aesthetic created by BMW Group Design is being unveiled in conjunction with the debut of the new BMW 5 Series. Technically and aesthetically, this livery turns the BMW 5 Series saloon into the ideal gaming station.
Around 750 cyclists took advantage of a Sunday morning without any cars to explore Ipoh city and its surroundings. The cyclists took part in the Isuzu Fun Ride 2023, which was organised by Weng Fatt Otomobil, one of Isuzu Malaysia’s authorised dealers, in conjunction with the company’s recently-completed 3S Centre.
The event was officially kicked off by Pasir Pinji assemblyman YB Goh See Hua, Isuzu Malaysia CEO Shunsuke Okazoe, COO Kenkichi Sogo, and Weng Fatt Otomobil Director Cheng Kah Yik. The latter two later joined the riders for a shorter 3-kilometre ride.

In order for authorities to easily contact vehicle owners, including sending notifications after seizing their vehicles, owners must update their current addresses.
According to The Star, JPJ director Mohd Zaki Ismail stated that having a proper address allows the authorities to identify the car owner and take appropriate action for violations of Section 64(1) of the Road Transport Act.

Earlier this year, former Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob urged the government to proceed with plans to construct drag racing circuits in each state. When Sabri was the prime minister in 2023, the project was revealed in the budget.
According to Bernama, RM20 million from the budget would be used to build drag racing circuits, giving young people the chance to participate in motorsports in a safe and regulated setting. As stated by Sabri, this will enable professionals in racing to educate young people and discover fresh talents in Malaysia.

The 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo Diesel engine will soon be offered with the Next-Generation Ford Ranger Raptor in response to widespread demand from Raptor enthusiasts around the country.
The new Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo will be offered beginning June 8, 2023, according to a statement from Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia.

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON), the automotive retail division of DRB-HICOM, has been named an official smart Malaysia dealer by Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET).
Following a signing ceremony with Hap Seng Smart earlier this month and the addition of EON to the smart Malaysia stable, PRO-NET has now hired five additional dealerships. Five more dealership appointments will be made public in the near future.
